About Me

I am Larissa Kunstel-Tabet, a seasoned project management professional specializing in the seamless execution of diverse projects. With a solid background in Mechanical Engineering and Innovation Design Engineering, I hold three master’s degrees from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. My educational journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of the intricate dynamics between technology and design.

Experience

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with esteemed institutions and companies, including Imperial College London, The Royal College of Art, CityMapper, The BBC, and Transport For London. These opportunities have allowed me to showcase my project management and operational skills in various capacities. Notably, at Imperial College, I spearheaded the establishment of an advanced hackspace, enabling students and staff from diverse disciplines to explore their creative sides and further their careers.

While at CityMapper, I conducted extensive Human-Centered Design research to enhance the user experience of their app. At The BBC, I contributed to the production teams of Dara O’Briain’s Science Show and the RA Christmas lectures. Additionally, I had the privilege of project managing the creation of technology-embedded dresses for Lady Gaga’s Art Pop tour, a project that pushed the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

Successfully creating and launching an advanced hackspace that now caters to 1500 users, nurturing creativity and fostering innovation.
Leading a human-centred design project remotely in Peru during the challenging times of the Covid-19 lockdown, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
Producing a captivating short film that garnered recognition and won an award at the London Rocks Film Festival.
Overseeing the project management of technology-embedded dresses for Lady Gaga’s Art Pop tour, merging fashion, technology, and spectacle into a groundbreaking experience.
